Since 1993, AST Waterjet has provided precision shape cutting services using Water Jet and Laser Cutting technology. We have 3 Waterjet tables equipped with 10 cutting heads and a Rotary Indexer (which allows us to cut in 6 Axis) along with a 5000 Watt Laser that all utilize the latest in 5-Axis Waterjet CNC controls to provide extremely accurate cutting whether your needs are for small prototype runs or repetitive production parts.
Beginning in November 2011 we will add CNC Routing capability. Our large scale CNC Router is equipped with the ability to cut and machine a wide array of materials and parts. The cutting bed of the CNC Router is 96" x 192" and has vacuum capability for easy setup. We can cut all materials at a very high speed and perform secondary machining operations such as countersinked and tapped holes all in the same setup.
We are able to cut any shape, including 3-D shapes, from all types of material ranging from .002” Shim Stock to 13” Stainless Steel. Our tables will hold material up to 144” wide by 192”. We routinely cut Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Copper, Titanium, Granite, Marble, Plastics, Composites, and Glass.
